Más de 30 investigadores del CICA se reúnen en la bienal de la RSEQ en Granada

Del 27 al 30 de junio se ha celebrado en Granada uno de los congresos más esperados por la comunidad de químicos españoles: La Bienal de la Real Sociedad Española de Química (RSEQ).

Tras la edición de 2020, que tuvo que ser celebrada de forma virtual, la XXXVIII, con su vuelta a la presencialidad, ha sido un éxito rotundo. Más de mil investigadores e investigadoras en el campo de la química se han desplazado a Granada, batiendo el récord de asistencia. Entre ellos, la representación del CICA ha sido muy significativa: treinta investigadores de 9 grupos: REACT!-IMMO, QUIMOLMAT QUIMBIO, PRONAMAR, SUPRA, SynCatMeth, Materiales, NanoSelf, BioMemChem  y BioMedNano.

No solo la Bienal ha contado con nuestros investigadores como asistentes, sino que entre todos han sumado 3 charlas, 5 presentaciones flash y 15 pósters. En esta edición, la cantidad de trabajos científicos que se han expuesto ha sido muy significativa, y además se ha premiado la calidad de los mismos. Paula Novo se llevó uno de los premios a la mejor presentación flash, y Charlene Harriswangler al mejor póster. No podría haber ido mejor.

Por último, cabe destacar que la investigadora Elena Pazos y el investigador Carlos Jiménez fueron, además, chairs de las sesiones 7 (Chemical Tools for Chemical Biologyy) y 15 (Natural products: Identification and production) respectivamente.
