César de la Fuente, head of the Machine Biology Group at the University of Pennsylvania and member of our External Scientific Advisory Board, has been included in this year’s list of Spanish Forbes Awards. The researcher is credited with many merits, including his contribution to the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus through an inexpensive chip attached to a mobile phone; or his research focused on the computational development of antibiotics.
The Forbes Awards are given to those professionals who have won the most awards and medals outside the country over the past five years.
