About Dra. Robin de Kruijff :

Dr. Robin de Kruijff works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Radiation Science & Technology at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). After completion of her PhD in 2018 at the same department with the thesis on the development of nanocarriers for (Ac-225)- targeted alpha therapy, she has spent one year at Argonne National Laboratory in the USA as a postdoctoral researcher.

Today her research focuses on using radionuclides for medical applications. This means that she develops new production routes for radionuclides, investigates their radiopharmaceutical potential for cancer therapy, and uses radiotracers to study the bioavailability and metabolism of essential minerals.

About Dra. Kristina Djanashvili :

Kristina Djanashvili is an Associate Professor at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). In 2009, she received her PhD with Cum Laude on the development of Gd-containing phenylboronic conjugates as contrast agents for MRI at the Department of Biotechnology, where she further continued her scientific career. In 2017, she performed one year research at the Centre Biophysique Moléculaire (CNRS, France) working with porous nanomaterials for theranostic applications.

Currently she is leading a research group working in close collaboration with the Department of Radiation Science & Technology on exploration of MRI-active materials with additional radionuclide imaging modalities (PET/SPECT), towards better sensitivity in combination with radio- and thermal therapy.
