Our gender equality policy consists of promoting gender-balanced teams, guaranteeing gender equality in decision-making bodies, and always taking into account the gender dimension in research and innovation to improve the quality and social relevance of the results.
At the CICA we have adopted the Gender Equality Plan drawn up by the UDC, which, in general terms, is structured around 4 areas of work:
- Governance, Social Responsibility and Transversality.
- Gender perspective in teaching and research activities.
- Prevention of and intervention against gender violence
- Reconciliation, personal development and professional career
The measures foreseen within each axis are aimed at the three groups that make up the university community (teaching staff, students and administrative and service staff), as well as society in general.
The full Plan Can be consulted at this link.
