BIOSPAIN, the biotechnology fair held in Spain as an international reference in the sector, took place between September 27 and October 1 in Pamplona.
On this occasion, the organizers (AseBio, SODENA, and the Government of Navarra) managed to bring together more than 500 companies and organizations, who did not want to miss an event designed to showcase the latest trends in the biotechnology sector. Among the objectives of the fair is the creation of meeting spaces to identify possible collaborations and opportunities for technology transfer from universities and research centers to industry. This year, the organization has opted for a mixed model with scheduled face-to-face meetings, conferences broadcast on the event's channel and virtual stands of the participating entities.
CICA has also had the opportunity to be present as a research center of the University of A Coruña. As in previous years, the main stakeholders of Galicia have participated in this fair in a coordinated manner as Galicio BIO Delegation. Along with the UDC; the Xunta, the GAIN Agency, Acis, Bioga and the universities of Vigo and Santiago de Compostela, are also part of this ecosystem, whose objective is to promote and make visible the biotechnological potential of our Autonomous Community.
BIOSPAIN closed this year's fair with more than 1500 participants.
