Título: “Catalytic functionalization of methane and light alkanes via carbene transfer reactions”
Abstract: The use of methane as raw material in synthetic chemistry is limited to a few examples. Our research group has been involved in this area for the last decade, having developed the use of non-conventional reaction media toward that end. In this context, the results concerning the formation of C-C and C-N bonds upon modification of methane C-H bonds using group 11 metal-based catalysts will be presented.
